Zamalek captain and goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed will sign a new deal before the end of the season, board member Ibrahim Youssef confirmed. Abdul-Wahed, who turns 35 in June, will run out of contract in the summer. “Abdul-Wahed is staying with Zamalek and he will sign a new contract before the summer,” Youssef told Zamalek's website. “He is one of the club's icons and he will be leading the next generation holding Zamalek's name.” Abdul-Wahed has been impressive for Zamalek recently and was arguably the man of the match in last week's win over Arab Contractors. Meanwhile, Amr Zaki, Hazem Emam and Hussein Hamdi are set for a special training program, following weeks of unsettlement over their unpaid wages. Zamalek said that all late dues have been paid to members of the first team.
