The Egyptian Premier League clash between Ahli and Ismaili has been postponed by an order from the Ministry of Interior, FA official Amer Hussein has confirmed. “We received a notification from the Ministry of Interior asking to postpone the match,” Competitions' Committee chief Hussein told FilGoal.com. “According to the authorities, the security in situation in the country makes it difficult to stage the game.” Ahli was supposed to host their bitter rivals behind closed doors on Tuesday, even so Ultras Ahlawy group announced their intention to defy the FA's verdict and attend the game. The Ahli-Ismaili clashes have rarely been free of tension between both clubs' fans during the past few years.
