FIFA has released a list of 10 nominees for the Puskas Award for the best goal of the year 2011, including strikes from the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Wayne Rooney.
According to an online voting, the list will be cut down to three goals on December 5, before the winner will be announced on the FIFA Ballon d'Or gala four days later.
Turkey midfielder Hamit Altintop won the best goal of the year in 2010 with his magnificent volley in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Kazakhstan.
