Ahli, Zamalek and Ismaili were ordered to play their next home games in the league behind closed doors due to infringements by their respective fans, the EFA announced on Tuesday. Supporters of the three clubs let off flares during their respective teams' games this week, defying the FA's decision to ban fireworks from the stands, in what has been a recurrent scene in Egyptian stadiums. The decisions is, however, not applicable for the next round as the three teams are already playing away from home. It will go through when Ahli entertain newcomers Dakhlia and Ismaili host ENPPI on November 2, while Zamalek have two consecutive away fixtures against Military Production and Smouha. Accordingly, the Whites will face against Police Union on November 8 in the absence of their fans in Cairo as they are already serving a stadium ban for the game against Production due to an earlier violation by their fans. Zamalek were hit by a further fine due to an infringement they made when they visited Gaish in their last league game as they wore socks similar in color to the hosts, which resulted in a 15-minute delay to kickoff. The FA's disciplinary sanctions also included a fine against Ittihad after their fans clashed with Ismaili supporters in Monday's 1-1 draw in Ismailia.
