Lierse have claimed their first Belgian league victory of the season, thanks to a brace from Egyptian striker Mohamed Al-Gabbas. The 23-year-old helped his side come back from behind to win 2-1 at Zulte Waregem, who took the lead early on through Karel D'Haene. Al-Gabbas then scored in either side of the interval to take his personal league tally to four goals and grab the first victory for Lierse in 10 matches. The Egyptian-owned outfit, who will host Sint-Truidense next week, moved from up one place to become third from bottom.
