Buoyant Mokhtar lauds ENPPI's composure
Published in FilGoal on 11 - 10 - 2011

ENPPI manager Mokhtar Mokhtar believes that their Egypt Cup trophy was down to his players' composure and the way they dealt with the crunch tie.
The petroleum side overturned their trailing to clincg the cup after defeating Zamalek 2-1 in the final in what could be regarded as a major upset.
"Our composure was the main reason behind overturning our goal deficit to finally emerge winners," Mokhtar told Modern Kora TV.
"Before the game, I told the players that Zamalek could take the lead in any moment and that's exactly what happened.
"We braced ourselves to deal with such a situation during the game and eventually succeeded in doing so.
"We were a bit irritated after defenders Amr Fahim and Abdul-Zaher Saka were injured and thus we had to substitute them; it deprived us of introducing players according to the run of play."

Fahim was forced off after 26 minutes
The Egypt cup title is highly regarded by the former Petrojet coach as it's the first trophy for him to ever achieve as a head coach.
Sad
Even though he was delighted with the victory, ENPPI defender Fahim offered his sympathies for Zamalek fans who packed Cairo Stadium to egg on their team.
"I'm really sad for the Zamalek fans who left the stadium disappointed following their team's loss," the ex-Zamalek man said.
"If I were a player in Zamalek and had those fans cheering for me, I would have worked my socks off to please those faithful supporters who cheer their side everywhere."
