Best Player: Mahmoud Abdul-Hakim (Masri) The midfield wizard caused all sorts of problems to the Ahli defense in Masri's impressive 1-1 draw with the champions. Abdul-Hakim, famous for his dazzling futsal skills, came up with a superb assist to Masri's early goal when he waltzed around Mohamed Shawky before feeding Abdoulaye Cisse with an easy ball to tap in. The former Petrojet playmaker almost capped his performance with a remarkable second-half winner, but was unlucky to see his effort bounce off the bar. Abdul-Hakim's assist Abdul-Hakim unlucky Best Goal : Mohamed Abdul-Shafi vs. ENPPI It was the flash that lighted some of the gloom in Zamalek's disappointing 3-1 defeat to ENPPI. The Egypt full-back stunned goalkeeper Mohamed Abou-Gabal with an unstoppable drive from 25 yards out to give Zamalek a fourth-minute lead. Abdul-Shafi was the only player in white to receive credit from angry boss Hossam Hassan after the game. Abdul-Shafi's screamer Best Match: ENPPI 3-1 Zamalek The main event of the round had to win it with a game that had everything between two Cairo rivals. Cracking goals, attacking football, a great comeback and a historic achievement for winners ENPPI, who finally claimed three points from Zamalek. Best Team: ENPPI Trailing an opposition who have won the past 12 games against them was never an easy task to face for the petroleum club. Knowing they have never beaten Zamalek, ENPPI must have thought it was game over when Abdul-Shafi stunned them as early as the fourth minute, but it wasn't. Stoycho Mladenov's men came back from behind to down the Whites, starting with a strike from ex-Zamalek captain Mohamed Aboul-Ella. After the break, ENPPI completed their fightback when Mohamed Nasef beat Essam Al-Hadari with a terrific volley from Aboul-Ella's corner. ENPPI's organized defense, led by Egypt veteran Abdul-Zaher Al-Saqqa, gave Zamalek a hard time trying to work a breakthrough, until the game was put to bed. The deserved victory was ensured by substitute striker Vincent Die Foneye, who darted through Zamalek's slack defense before smashing home past Al-Hadari. ENPPI's fightback Best Coach: Mokhtar Mokhtar (Masri) The former Ahli manager helped his new club end their opponents' five-year home dominance with a deserved 1-1 draw in Cairo. Unlike most teams who face the champions in Cairo, Masri were hardly defense-minded, thanks to their manager's valiant approach. After going to the dressing room on level terms, Mokhtar could have told his players to sit back and defend the precious point after the break. But instead, Masri gave Ahli a contest and were even close to stunning the league holders who were saved by the woodwork following Abdul-Hakim's superb effort. Newsmaker: Mikael Dodzi (Gaish) It was a torrid night for Dodzi when Gaish visited Ittihad looking for their first point of the season. The Togolese striker was back in the squad after being absent for the whole pre-season due to 'family reasons'. He marked his comeback with the match-winning goal in Alexandria after coming off the bench in the second half. However, the dream return was blemished when the veteran striker received two bookings in quick succession to leave the pitch in shame before the final whistle. Dodzi's winner
