Local-based goals
1-Shikabala (Zamalek) vs. Police Union
The Zamalek wizard scored a rare halfway-line strike from no less than 45 yards; one of the best goals in the history of the Egyptian league.
2- Mohamed Zidan (Egypt) vs. Cameroon
Excellent control, great composure and a quality left-footed drive from the Borussia Dortmund forward, which left Carlos Kameni stranded in Ghana 2008.
3-Moatazbellah Eno (Ahli) vs. Zamalek
An emphatic volley from the Ahli midfielder against his former club ensured the Reds Devils' Super Cup victory over Zamalek early this season.
4-Ahmed Sedik (Ahli) vs. Koroum
A superb volley from an unlikely source of goals; good work from Ahmed Hassan Farag on the assist as well.
5-Abdul-Hamid Hassan (Ittihad) vs. Tersana
The Ittihad veteran unleashed an unstoppable shot in the dying moments of the game against Tersana, giving his side the three points in a superb fashion.
6-Ahmed Fathi (Ahli) vs. Tersana
The defensive midfielder won the game for Ahli with a remarkable long-range effort into the top left corner of Tersana's net.
7-Amr Zaki (Zamalek) vs. ENPPI
The robust striker showed great skill to waltz around two ENPPI defenders before placing a deft shot past the keeper to win the cup for Zamalek. The Zak's last goal for the Cairo club before joining Wigan.
8-Ahmed Hassan (Ahli) vs. Koroum
A 35-yard rocket from the Egypt captain was enough to prompt a rare celebration from the ice-cool Manuel Jose in Ahli's cup win against Koroum.
9-Abdullah Saied (Ismaili) vs. Masri
The talented playmaker inspired Ismaili's win at Masri, his first goal was an absolute beauty, beating the keeper with a wonderfully-placed shot.
10-Flavio (Ahli) vs. Pachuca
An organized counter-attack resulted in an amazing team goal finished by Flavio; perhaps Ahli's only thing to cheer about in Japan 2008.
