Ahmed Elmohamady explained how he felt after scoring his maiden Sunderland goal in Saturday's 2-2 draw with West Brom. The Egyptian, who has been deployed in a more advanced role in recent weeks, grabbed a vital equalizer for the Black Cats with a powerful header. "I felt very good after the goal but I just wanted us to go on and win the game. It was a great feeling when the ball crossed the line," Elmo was quoted by Sunderland TV. "The manager spoke to me before the game and told me to get in the box any time the ball went down the left side. "Nicklas (Bendtner) put in a great cross for me to score a very good goal. There was a lot of pace on the cross so all I had to do was direct it. I got across the defender and managed to put it in. "I see it as a good point after conceding those two goals in the first five minutes. We came back so well and were unlucky not to win. "Even the very best teams find it hard to come back from conceding two goals so early, but we managed to do it. The chances were there for us at 2-2 but we couldn't take them." Sunderland, who are currently in 16th place of the Premier League table, will visit Arsenal after the international break.
