Zamalek do not have to rely on the sparkle of one player anymore, according to midfield ace Shikabala. Shikabala, who has been instrumental in almost every victory for Zamalek last season, is glad that the arrival of Hassan Shehata has made him more of a team player. The Egypt international, who finished last term on top of the league's scoring charts with 13 goals, doesn't seem to be concerned that he couldn't find the net in Tuesday's 4-1 cup win over Wadi Degla. “A strong team wins because of the combined efforts of the group, rather than relying on one player like last season's Zamalek,” Shikabala said after the Degla game. “I feel relieved with the presence of Shehata who removed a lot of pressure off my shoulder. All players now contribute and it's not just me who receives the ball to create chances.” Zamalek produced a vintage performance to overcome their first-half trailing to Degla, thanks to braces from new signing Ahmed Hassan and substitute Ahmed Gaafar.
