Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac is in contention to take the empty Egypt job, revealed FA chairman Samir Zaher. “Rajevac is expected to visit Cairo in the next few weeks and then we should meet with him to learn about his views for the job,” Zaher told FilGoal.com. Rajevac, 57, joins a shortlist of three other candidates tipped for the job; Bob Bradley, Francisco Maturana and Zoran Filipovic. The former Ghana boss has just been sacked as the manager of Qatar, following two disappointing defeats against Asian minnows India and Vietnam. He led Ghana to the final of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, where they lost to Egypt, a few months before guiding the Black Stars to the quarter-finals of the World Cup in South Africa. Assistant Meanwhile, the Egyptian FA announced the names of four national managers tipped to work with the foreign head coach. The candidates for the assistant coach role are Harras Hodoud boss Tarek Al-Ashri, Egypt U-20 coach Diaa Al-Sayed, Hossam Al-Badri who is in charge of Sudan's Merreikh and the unemployed Alaa Maihoub.
