Zamalek have snapped up 20-year-old Ghanaian center-half Karimu Alhassan on a free transfer from Hearts of Oak, the Cairo club said on their website. Alhassan, who has one cap for the Ghana senior team, penned a five-year deal with the Whites on Saturday to become their fourth summer recruit. Zamalek are aiming to reshuffle their squad ahead of next season upon the request of new manager Hassan Shehata. After accepting an offer from Gaish for Ivorian striker Abou Kone, the Whites are likely to ditch foreign duo Mohamed Aoudia and Emad Mohamed as well. The future of center-half Amr Al-Safti is also uncertain, while fellow defender Mohamed Younes has moved to Petrojet.
