Hussein Yasser put on a fine display in the season finale as Zamalek beat Military Production 3-1 on Sunday. The Egyptian-Qatari international scored a goal and dished out two assists in the season finale. Zamalek took the lead on the half-hour mark when Yasser dummied his marker before sending a wicked drive into the far post. Eight minutes later, Yasser squared the ball for Hossam Arafat, whose low shot beat keeper Nader Saad. Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan fielded several second-string players, after Ahli were officially crowned league champions. Left-back Sabri Rahil, teenage midfielder Ahmed Tewfik, defender Mahmoud Al-Badri all started. First-choice keeper and club captain Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed was benched, leaving the opportunity for Mahmoud Abdul-Rahim, who let in an easy goal. Abdul-Rahim failed to block an easy cross, only for Kwabena Yaro to easily tap in. Ahmed Gaafar scored his ninth goal of the season ten minutes from time to make it three. He received a neat pass from Yasser and he curled home as he went one-on-one with Saad.
