A rare error from Essam Al-Hadari cost Merreikh a place in the Cecafa Cup final after the Sudanese giants lost 5-4 on penalties to Simba Sports of Tanzania. The match ended in a 1-1 draw as former Zamalek midfielder Remi Adiko gave Merreikh a 13th minute lead, before Al-Hadari almost handed Simba the equalizer on 25 minutes. The match could be the last for the Egypt number one, who said last month that he will quit Merreikh after the regional tournament. Al-Hadari's blunder
