Egypt's Ahmed Ali played his penultimate game with Hilal as the Saudi champions crashed out of the King Cup of Champions at the hands of Ittihad. Ittihad, who eliminated Hilal from the Asian Champions League, followed their 3-0 first-leg away win with a 1-1 draw on Sunday night. Issa Al-Mehyani's opener for Hilal was canceled out by substitute Nayef Hazazi to give Ittihad a 4-1 aggregate win. Striker Ali, on loan from Ismaili, started for Hilal but was hardly effective throughout the game. The 25-year-old is unlikely to extend his loan with the Riyadh giants for another season, even though he said he will not return to the Egyptian league.
