Ahmed Ali's Hilal cruised to the Asian Champions League round of 16 after beating Qatar's Gharrafa 2-0 in Riyadh on Wednesday. Egypt striker Ali played for more than an hour as the Saudi champions were lifted by two second-half goals from Yasser Al-Qahtani and Ahmed Al-Fraidi. Hilal finish as runner-up in Group A, leveling on 13 points with leaders Sepahan Esfahan, who has a better goal difference after thrashing UAE's Jazeera 4-1. Hilal complete a quartet of Saudi clubs in the competition as Nassr, Shabab and Ittihad Jeddah have all qualified for the knockouts.
