Ismaili full-back Ahmed Sedik joined the team's injury list and became doubtful for the Confederation Cup tie at Sofapaka next month. “Sedik sustained a groin injury in training and could be out for ten days, which means he is a major doubt for the game on April 2,” Ismaili assistant coach Ahmed Qenawi told FilGoal.com. “We've been very unlucky with injuries recently, especially regarding our backline.” Ismaili already have defenders Shadi Mohamed, Ibrahim Yehia and Ahmed Hegazi injured; a dilemma which forced manager Mark Wotte to consider changing the positions of some players. The Dervishes have a 2-0 lead over the Kenyan side ahead of the return leg.
