Ahli transfer gutu Adli Al-Qaeyi revealed that regaining the services of former striker Flavio is an option for the league leaders this winter. The Shabab hitman has just returned from a long-term knee injury, with reports suggesting that the Saudi club are considering loaning him out in January. While Ahli are in search for a foreign striker, the Angolan could be making a surprise return to the Cairo club soon enough. “We will call Shabab to enquire about the possibility of loaning Flavio. We shall also ask the player himself about it,” Ahli marketing manager Al-Qaeyi told Modern Sport TV. Earlier this year, Flavio said he won't hesitate to accept Ahli's overtures should the Egyptian giants make a move for him. The 30-year-old enjoyed a glorious spell in Cairo between 2005 and 2009, winning three CAF Champions League titles with Ahli. Ahli are believed to be in talks with Zambia striker Given Singuluma, who starred for African champions Mazembe in this season's Champions League.
