Emad Meteb is urging Ahli to re-sign Angolan hitman Flavio from Saudi Arabia's Shabab in the winter break. Flavio, who has just returned from a long-term knee injury, was loan-listed by Shabab while being reportedly linked with a return to Cairo. “of course I would like to play again alongside Flavio,” Meteb, who returns to Ahli's frontline in January after controversially leaving Standard Liege, said. “Some would say that he needs time after injury, but I believe that he could be fully fit in a month. “I think we would regret it if we missed out on him.” Meteb and Flavio formed a strong partnership in Ahli's attack for several years under the management of Portuguese Manuel Jose. Despite Meteb's return, Ahli are still in search of another striker to join in this winter.
