Zamalek left-back Mohamed Abdul-Shafi said he wasn't at his best during his side's past few Egyptian Premier League games due to exhaustion. "The succession of matches affected my displays, I'm exhausted," Abdul-Shafi told FilGoal.com on Thursday. "The team's doctor gave me some advices to overcome that problem which took its toll on my performances." Abdul-Shafi has been Zamalek's regular left-back since coach Hossam Hassan took over at the club in November last year. He was also part of Egypt's 2010 African Cup of Nations winning squad. The 25-year-old scored the opening goal in Zamalek's 3-1 league defeat by ENPPI last month.
