Algerian side JS Kabylie, who were drawn with Ahli and Ismaili in the Champions League group stage, have decided to stage their African games at the large 5 Juillet Stadium. Kabylie usually play their home matches at the 20,000-seater Stade 1er Novembre but they are targeting bigger support in the Champions League. "It will be much better when we play at Stade 5 Juillet," Kabylie chairman Mohand Hannachi was quoted as saying by local media. "We will generate more revenue and have better support because Stade 5 Juillet can host up to 80,000 spectators." Kabylie will face Egyptian duo Ahli and Ismaili and last year's finalists Heartland of Nigeria in Group B of the Champions League. They open their campaign away to one-time African champions Ismaili in July.
