A second-half goal from Diego Milito gave Inter Milan a 1-0 home victory over CSKA Moscow in the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals on Wednesday. The Italian giants squandered a host of goalscoring opportunities as CSKA sat back to avoid a likely defeat. Argentinean in-form striker Milito rescued Inter when he struck home five minutes past the hour mark. He was fed by playmaker Wesley Sneijder on the edge of the area before rifling a right-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net. "Yesterday I said I was expecting a hard game and so it was," Inter coach Jose Mourinho said after the game. "They were very compact and physically strong, but everything changed with our goal in the second half, and it could have finished 3-0."
