Military Production striker Mohamed Zaki has been ruled out of his team's trip to Zamalek due to an ankle problem. The Military side's prolific hitman was injured in Friday's 2-0 victory over Ittihad and now is facing a 30-day layoff. "Zaki picked up an injury while playing against Ittihad and he will have a splint put on his ankle," Production coach Tarek Yehia told FilGoal.com. "He's going to be out of action for a whole month." Zaki, who has scored five goals so far this season, will be replaced by Zamalek-bound Abou Kone in Wednesday's league game. The Ivorian front-man has already signed for Zamalek starting next season, but Yehia has no reservations about fielding him against the White Knights. "I verified yesterday (Monday) that Abou Kone has penned a contract with Zamalek, but that won't affect him while playing against them," Yehia said. "If Zamalek want to complete his deal, they will have to pay his $500,000 release clause," he added.
