Zamalek's regular keeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed hinted that he could leave the club if they pursued their reported interest in Ismaili goalie Essam Al-Hadari. Local reports suggested that Zamalek were lining up a bid for Al-Hadari, who has fallen out with Ismaili over their failure to fulfill their financial obligations towards him. Al-Sayed has been Zamalek's first-choice keeper for many years, thanks to his consistent displays. The 32-year-old, although troubled by niggling injuries, was always praised for maintaining his fine performances even when the Cairo side were outplayed by the majority of their opponents during the past few years. He is a fans' favorite but his ties with the club are threatened by the possible arrival of Al-Hadari at the end of the season. "I'm at the peak of my career with Zamalek," Al-Sayed told FilGoal.com on Sunday. "I was always loyal to the club even in the bleakest days, but I knew that they opened talks with Al-Hadari to sign him. "If they think that bringing in Al-Hadari would be in the best interests of the club, then I should also consider my interests." Al-Sayed has conceded just three goals in Zamalek's last 10 Egyptian Premier League games, including two penalties. He is Egypt's second-choice guardian behind Al-Hadari, who played a key role in helping the Pharaohs win three successive African Cup of Nations titles in 2006, 2008 and 2010. When asked about his plans for the future, Al-Sayed said: "I will not make any decisions until the end of the season. "I'm fully focused on Zamalek's games but I could consider my options when the season ends."
