Real Madrid playmaker Rafael van der Vaart said he will not be worried over his first-team prospects when Kaka recovers from his injury. The Dutchman, who hardly won over Real supporters after joining from Hamburg in the summer of 2008, was given a chance to prove his worth after Brazilian playmaker Kaka sustained an injury. He scored an injury-time winner in Real's 3-2 Primera Liga victory over Sevilla after coming on as a second-half substitute before being given a starting berth in the following game against Real Valladolid. "It was the second time I played a whole match, which made me very happy," Van der Vaart told a news conference. "Before the season started I said I wanted to be important on this team and I feel I am. I want to win the league title. "I want to remain here because I am very happy. I feel great. I have great respect for Kaka. He is a great player, but I am not afraid of not playing when he returns." It remains to be seen whether Van der Vaart can retain his place in Real's starting line-up when Kaka returns to action. Kaka, who joined Real from AC Milan last summer, has also been criticized for failing to replicate the form that saw him named World Player of the Year in 2007.
