Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp criticized the referee of his side's 3-1 defeat to Bayern Munich for not blowing his whistle on two key occasions. Egypt forward Mohamed Zidan gave Dortmund an early lead after robbing Belgian defender Daniel van Buyten on the edge of the area to score his third league goal this season. However, Bayern stormed back with goals from Mark van Bommel, Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez to register their ninth successive league win. "There was a foul by Martin Demichelis on Zidan in the build up to Bayern's second goal," Klopp was quoted as saying by Dortmund's official website. "In the third goal, Gomez was slightly offside." Despite complaining of some refereeing decisions, Klopp praised Bayern for their individual skills. "The individual quality of our opponent was incredibly good. Bayern showed class in the game," he added. "We created 11 goalscoring opportunities but scored just one goal, we played a good game." Dortmund are fifth in the league table with 36 points, three behind fourth-placed Hamburg. They should finish at least in fourth place if they are to play in next season's Europa League.
