German tactician Theo Buecker has succeeded Anwar Salama as Masri's boss, the coastal club announced on Friday. Salama handed in his resignation last week after falling out with the club's board. "We have already reached an agreement with Buecker," club president Kamal Abou-Ali told a news conference. "He signed an extendable contract that will last till the end of the season." German boss Buecker, 61, was hired by a good number of Egyptian clubs over the past years. He was in charge of Ittihad when they finished fourth in the 1993/1994 season, and also had spells with Ismaili and Zamalek but did not guide them to any titles.
