Gamal Hamza, who has just joined Gouna till the end of the season, says he will move back to Zamalek by next term. Recent reports suggested that the 28-year-old would rejoin the White Knights this winter, but it seems that his comeback will materialize in the close season. "(Zamalek boss) Hossam Hassan told me that he wants me to get back," Hamza told FilGoal.com. "I'm keen to return to where I kicked off my career. I initially accepted Hassan's offer and I don't think the club's board would mind having me back." Hamza was spotted while having a sideline conversation with Hassan during Abdul-Hamid Bassiouni's testimonial match. The controversial forward featured for his boyhood team in Friday's game and put in a good performance. Hamza signed a two-year deal with Bundesliga club Mainz last summer after his deal with Zamalek expired. However, he failed to prove his worth and the German side offloaded him before he moved to Gouna.
