Masri have reinforced their squad with some impressive signings including a record deal with Harras Hodoud duo Abdul-Salam Nagah and Hani Saied. The Port-Said outfit announced the capturing of the highly-rated duo for a record fee worth EGP 3.5million, followed by goalkeeper Amir Abdul-Hamid from Ahli. Abdul-Hamid, who fell out with Ahli boss Hossam Al-Badri, signed a one-and-a-half-year contract worth EGP 700,000. Another addition saw Zamalek and Egypt youngster Hossam Arafat join the coastal club on a six-month loan deal. Masri, managed by former ENPPI boss Anwar Salama, finished the first half of the season in 14th place with 13 points from 15 games.
