Chelsea will face Inter Milan and former manager Jose Mourinho while David Beckham will return to Old Trafford when Milan take on Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League Knock-out stage. The draw for the last 16 of the continental competition has set up some mouth-watering clashes, with two English-Italian encounters stealing the limelight. Mourinho led English giants Chelsea to two successive Premiership titles in 2005 and 2006, but couldn't steer them to a Champions League triumph. The Portuguese tactician emulated his feat with the Blues when he took charge at Giuseppe Meazza and led Inter to the Seria A title in 2009, but again couldn't guide the Italian giants to the Champions League trophy. On the other hand, Beckham, who has joined Milan on a six-month loan deal starting January, will be facing United where he originally established himself as a superstar. The Red Devils reached the Champions League final twice in a row over the past couple of years, claiming the title in 2008 before finishing as runner-ups in the next year.
Beckham Arsenal were drawn with 2004 European champions Porto. Both teams collided with each other three times over the last four seasons. Defending champions Barcelona will have to go past German side Stuttgart to the quarter-finals. Barca's arch-rivals Real Madrid will take on Lyon, who will be looking to spring a surprise and go through. Bayern Munich, who qualified for the Knock-out stage after pulling off a staggering 4-1 win at Juventus, will face another Seria A side in Fiorentina who defeated Liverpool twice in the previous stage. CSKA Moscow, who could have been expelled after two of their players failed doping tests, will play Sevilla. Bordeaux will be looking to improve their impressive Knock-out stage record by defeating Greek titans Olympiakos.
