Zamalek coach Henri Michel was given a vote of confidence on Friday despite the White Knights' string of poor results in the Egyptian Premier League. The club's board convened to decide on the future of the Frenchman, who took charge of the team following the sacking of Michel Decastel in August. "The board decided to give Michel and his assistants a vote of confidence," board member Ibrahim Youssef told FilGoal.com. The decision wasn't made unanimously, as some members had reservation about Michel's ability to stay at the helm, but eventually he was given a second chance. Michel was tipped to be fired after he failed to help Zamalek maintain consistency over the past couple of months. Under his guidance, the Cairo side won a couple of matches, lost in as many games and drew once.
