Valencia gives United late victory in Moscow

A late goal from Antonio Valencia earned Manchester United a hard-fought 1-0 victory at CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Valencia notched the winner with four minutes remaining when was found by a neat flick from Dimitar Berbatov to fire in from a tight angle.
The Ecuadorian winger, who joined United in the close season from Wigan Athletic, was unlucky not to open the scoring few minutes earlier.
He exchanged passes with forward Nani on the edge of the area before smashing a powerful drive that struck the bar.
United, who missed several key players due to injury including striker Wayne Rooney and in-form winger Ryan Giggs, are close to booking a place in the knockout stage.
They are on top of Group B with maximum nine points from three games, two ahead of Wolfsburg who meet pointless Besiktas later in the day.
