Hossam Al-Badri indicated that Ahli's U-20 players need to be consistent in order to get their first-team call-up. A handful of Ahli youngsters are with the Egypt squad in the U-20 World Cup, most notably Afroto, Ahmed Shoukri, Shehab Ahmed and Moaz Al-Hennawi. "The four regular players in the Egypt squad have good potential, but only consistency will make them first-team stars," Ahli boss Al-Badri told FilGoal.com. Promising striker Mohamed Talaat has already carved a place in Al-Badri's squad after some impressive performances with Manuel Jose last season.
