Bayern Munich refuted reports linking striker Luca Toni with a loan move to West Ham United. Toni was reportedly on the radar of Hammers Italian boss Gianfranco Zola, who is short of options upfront, but it seems the 31-year-old is staying put. "There is no bid regarding Luca Toni. And we are not really considering his future," Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger told Munchener Merkur. Toni's first team chances at Allianz Arena came under scrutiny following the summer arrivals of Mario Gomez and Ivica Olic. In addition to that, the Italy striker didn't enjoy the best of campaigns in Munich last term, where the Bavarians failed to win any silverware.
