Adriano back with his family
Published in FilGoal on 06 - 04 - 2009

Inter Milan striker Adriano is back home after recent concerns were raised regarding his whereabouts during the past couple of days.
The Brazilian has not reported back to his club after the Selecao's meeting with Peru last week, which prompted Inter boss Jose Mourinho to voice his anxiety.
However, the Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) confirmed that the 27-year-old is with his family in Rio de Janeiro.
"Striker Adriano is at home with the company of his family in Rio de Janeiro," the CBF said in a statement.
It was rumored that Adri might have been kidnapped as neither his mother nor his agent knew anything about him before Monday, but the allegations were denied.
"Contrary to the rumors that are circulating and that don't correspond to the truth, we repeat that Adriano is in Rio de Janeiro with his family," the CBF statement added.
Delicate
Reports in Brazil suggested that the well-built forward was partying at his homeland over the weekend, but the CBF implied that he is having a personal issue.
"He is in contact with Brazil Coach Dunga and directors from Inter, informing them of the delicate moment he is going through," it stated.
Adriano has been struggling with personal problems throughout the past couple of seasons, which affected his fitness and form at both club and country levels.
The ex-Parma man was involved in a host of disputes with former manager Roberto Mancini as well as Mourinho, who is unlikely to tolerate the recent setback.
