Wolfsburg thrashed Bayern Munich 5-1 on Saturday to move top of the Bundesliga table.
Christian Gentner broke the deadlock on 44 minutes but Bayern's towering striker Luca Toni leveled the score in the first-half's additional time.
Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko scored twice in the 63rd and 66th minutes to give the hosts a commanding lead.
Bundesliga top scorer Grafite also notched a brace to complete the rout and heap more misery on title holders Bayern.
Wolfsburg are in charge of the table on 51 points, ahead of second-placed Hamburg, who beat Hoffenheim 1-0, on goal difference.
