Masri have made a complaint to the Egyptian FA against referee Saied Abdul-Ghaffar, following the coastal side's 1-0 loss to ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League. Abdul-Ghaffar, who officiated Friday's game, was blamed by the Port Said side for their home defeat. Club president Ali Farag said he had called on the FA not to assign Abdul-Ghaffar for any other Masri matches. "He (Abdul-Ghaffar) made so many mistakes in the game, and his misjudgment cost us dearly," Farag told FilGoal.com. The controversial referee alleged after the ill-tempered game that he had been slapped by a Masri board member in the locker room during the break. "Mohamed Abou-Taleb confronted me in the dressing room during the halftime break and slapped me," Abdul-Ghaffar said right after the match. "Some security men witnessed the incident but did nothing. I will file a complaint to the Egyptian FA competitions' committee. "I preferred not to halt the match in order not to cause any troubles between fans."
