AC Milan playmaker Kaka looks certain to miss Brazil's friendly game with Italy this week after sustaining an ankle injury in Saturday's league draw with Reggina. The 27-year-old received a knock which forced him to pull out of the second half in the 1-1 Serie A draw at San Siro, where he scored the equalizer for the Rossoneri prior to his exit. Initial fears were raised that Kaka had fractured a bone in his foot, but Milan confirmed that post-match tests were not that consternating. "Kaka reported a trauma to his left foot. The checks made after Milan-Reggina did not show any kind of fracture," a Milan statement read. The Brazilian is set to miss his nation's friendly with Italy in London on Tuesday, and is doubtful for next weekend's derby clash with Inter Milan. Kaka, who was named 2007 FIFA Player of the Year, struggled with a knee injury which kept him on the sidelines for long spells of last season. The midfield ace pledged his future to Milan this winter when he turned down a lofty bid from Manchester City for a January move.
