Abou-Mosallam joins Ajaccio on loan basis

Egyptian full-back Ahmed Abou-Mosallam has sealed an extendable six-month loan deal with France's Ajaccio from second division rivals Strasbourg on Monday.
The 27-year-old was keen to leave Strasbourg because he featured for the second tier only for several minutes over the past 18 months.
"I have joined Ajaccio without undergoing any tests, as their coach knows my capabilities quite well," Abou-Mosallam told FilGoal.com.
The defender's new contract includes a clause which allows him to extend his stay upon both clubs' consent.
Moreover, Strasbourg would get 20% of a transfer fee should Ajaccio sell Abou-Mosallam to another club.
The former Ahli player received offers from Ismaili and Telecom Egypt, but he opted to have another spell in the French second division.
