Petrojet coach Mokhtar Mokhtar hit out at referee Tawfik Al-Sayed, who presided over the Egyptian League Leaders' 1-1 draw with Tersana on Thursday. The former Ahli assistant coach believes Al-Sayed made so many mistakes during the game. "He made a lot of bad decisions," Mokhtar told FilGoal.com "he was dishing out yellow cards for no apparent reason. "I am pretty sure he hasn't practiced football at all, if so, he wouldn't have made such blunders." The referee had to stop the game for a while after being jeered by the home side spectators.
Petrojet still topping the Egyptian League Table "He didn't react towards the harsh challenges of Tersana players, he wasn't the right man to officiate the game," he said. "I hereby urge the referees committee to watch the match video to see how horrible he was." Furthermore, he assured that his players put in a good performance in the game, saying he's satisfied with their current level. However, he's expecting that his team's form will notably plummet in the near future. "I think the players will be badly affected by the imminent League stoppage period," he added.
