After five months from announcing his retirement from international football, striker David Trezeguet said that he'd still love to play for France again. The Juventus' striker retirement came after a number of public spats with France coach Raymond Domenech, who excluded the former from EURO 2008. "I didn't want to quit the national team,” Trezeguet told L'Equipe on Wednesday. "Now I think the 2010 World Cup could be an objective for me. I don't forget it. I have always missed Les Bleus and I still miss them today." Despite admitting the drift with Domenech, the 31-year-old expressed his willingness to bury the hatchet with the temperamental coach. "I don't set any conditions for my return, if Domenech thinks Trezeguet can help his team, then we will see." Trezeguet added that he's got the backing of France new assistant coach Alain Boghossian, who told him he'd form a great striking pair with Karim Benzema. The Argentine-born hit man is currently recovering from operations on both knees and should be fit again by February.
