Amr Zaki's personal adviser Mohamed Saied insisted there is no problem whatsoever between his client and Wigan Athletic coach Steve Bruce. Egyptian reports claimed that Bruce excluded Zaki from Wigan's Premier League game against Everton on Monday due to the striker's late return to England. Zaki was present in Egypt to look after his ill daughter during the international break. He flew back to England one day later than scheduled. “There are no problems and Zaki was not punished. Bruce understood why the player returned late,” Saied told FilGoal.com on Monday. “Zaki's hamstring injury is the only reason why he will not play against Everton tonight. “I hope that Egyptian media would be careful when talking about Zaki. They should not fake stories.” The 25-year-old, who missed Wigan's last Premier League clash against Newcastle with injury, was rested by Egypt coach Hassan Shehata during Wednesday's friendly against Benin. “Wigan's medical team are doing their best to make sure Zaki would be fit for West Bromwich game next week,” Saied added. Zaki has been setting the Premiership alight with some dazzling displays since joining Wigan on a one-year loan deal from Zamalek, scoring eight goals for his club in the process.
