Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said the Cairo derby postponement had an adverse effect on his side's plans for the upcoming period. "We based our preparations on the fact that we would face Zamalek on Saturday," Al-Badri told Ahli's official website on Thursday. "We were fully concentrating on that clash after returning from Cameroon." Ahli claimed a record-breaking sixth Champions League title after defeating Coton Sport 4-2 on aggregate on Sunday. The Red Devils were due to face arch-rivals Zamalek on Saturday but the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) surprisingly decided to delay the match for an indefinite period. The EFA said the match would not take place unless they settle the ongoing dispute over TV rights. Ahli reignited the row by insisting to have the exclusive rights of broadcasting their home league games. "The EFA always talk about the league's stability, so why did they postpone the game?" Al-Badri added.
