Everton coach David Moyes was astonished to hear that Egypt striker Emad Meteb is on his way to Goodison Park. According to Egyptian media, Meteb, who is currently on loan from Ahli at Ittihad Jeddah, was reportedly at an advanced talks with the Toffees regarding a January move, However, English agent Jesse Learoyd-Hill rubbished the allegations on Wednesday, as Moyes affirmed that there is no link with the 25-year-old. "I don't know anything about it. I've never heard of him," the Everton boss was quoted by the Liverpool Daily Post. "I might have seen him play, but the name doesn't mean anything to me." Meteb was linked with Everton in August, but the Premiership side moved for Manchester United's Louis Saha.
