Middlesbrough striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' was forced out of his team's Saturday clash against Blackburn Rovers due to injury. The player's brother told FilGoal.com that Mido was meant to start the game for Middlesbrough but had to pull out after sustaining a muscle injury during the game's warm up. Brazilian striker Afonso Alves took part instead of Mido, to feature alongside Turkish forward Tuncay Sanli. It's worth mentioning that Mido is his team's Premiership top goal scorer with three goals so far in the season.
