Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster said that his team's poor start of the game resulted in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish champions suffered their first Champions League defeat of the season in Turin and Schuster said he wasn't surprised with the result. "The defeat doesnt come as a surprise. What surprised me was the way we started. We didn't start each half the way we had wanted, and it cost us dearly,” Schuster said after the game. Schuster stressed that despite their poor league form, Juventus will always be a tough side to play against. "Juventus are always Juventus. .They are always aggressive when they play Real Madrid in the Champions League and we had to be just as aggressive as they were." The German tactician added that the Turin defeat has left his team with no other choice than beating Juve at Santiago Bernabeu to secure second phase qualification. “We have to remedy the situation at home. We must win. I don't care about the other scores. We will finish top of the group if we take care of business.” the defeat leaves Real second of group H with six points, one behind leaders Juventus.
