Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster said that the 2-0 score line against Juventus didn't reflect his team's performance during the home game. Los Merengues were beaten by the Italian giants on Wednesday, thanks to Alessandro Del Piero's brilliant brace. However, Schuster said he was satisfied with his team's showing. "We had more chances than I thought we would, which is why I cannot say anything to my team, but we weren't rewarded when we deserved to be," Schuster said after the game. "The visitors' first shot ended up in the back of the net. We had our chances, but the Champions League is unforgiving." The defeat left Real in second place of Group H, four points behind Juventus. However, Schuster confirmed that his team still have a good chance of qualifying to the Champions League knock out stage. The nine-time European champions will travel to BATE Brosiov of Belarus in the next round, before hosting FC Zenit in their final group game. "This was just one Champions League game. We still can qualify, but we must win both matches against BATE and Zenit," concluded the German tactician.
