Werder Bremen will have to do without keeper Tim Wiese when they meet Panathinaikos in the Champions League on Wednesday. The 26-year-old has picked up an injury in Bremen's final training session before heading to Athens. "It would appear to be a muscle sinew tear. There is no point in risking him for the game on Wednesday," Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf told a press conference. "All we can do now is be patient and wait for the results of a more detailed examination." Bremen will also miss striker Aaron Hunt due to a knee injury.
