Egypt claimed their first win at the FIFA Futsal World Cup following an easy 6-2 victory over China on Sunday. The Pharaohs took the lead after eight minutes, thanks to Sameh Saleh's goal. Mizo doubled Egypt's lead in the 18th minute before scoring the third himself just one minute later. Ahmed Al-Agouz hit a brace to put the result beyond doubt as Egypt led by five goals to nil. China pulled one back through Xi Zhang in the 25th minute but Saleh restored Egypt's five-goal lead two minutes later. The Asians scored a late consolation through Jie Hu. Egypt's first three points put them in fourth place of Group C with three points, one behind second-placed Ukraine, who still have a game in hand, and four adrift of leaders Argentina. They next face Ukraine in their last group stage game.
