New Manchester City owner Sulaiman Al-Fahim is planning to make a major revolution at the club that will eclipse Roman Abramovich's impact at Chelsea. Al-Fahim became City's owner after Abu Dhabi United Group Investment and Development Limited completed a takeover of the club in a deal reported to be worth £200 million, and the Emirati made no secrets of his future plans. “There is a real expectation and hope that this time it will not be a false dawn and we can kick on and establish ourselves as a top four club at some point,” Al-Fahim told the Sun. “We have the means now to make ourselves a top club. I have to acquire the correct players in the right positions to grow as a team. The expectations will rise now and that is fine,” he added. The 31-year old Emirate businessman made a big entrance by signing Robinho from Real Madrid worth £30m on his first day as City's owner.. Anil Bhoyrul, editorial director at Arabian Business.com and close friend of Al-Fahim also revealed that the latter intends to launch future bids for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas, Liverpool striker Fernando Torres and Manchester United hot shot Cristiano Ronaldo. “I have a list of the players Dr Sulaiman wants to go out and bid for and one is Ronaldo. He says he doesn't have a problem tabling a £120m bid, just to do it and see what the reaction will be,” Bhoyrul told the Sun. Al-Fahim added that he wants to take on anything in the Premier League and Europe “I always feel like I'm a kind of bulldozer, a fully insured bulldozer. “If nobody likes it, it starts moving even if there are cars in its way, it has to crush the cars and move. I can't stop. If I have an idea, I have to do it.”
